• Come to the Cookalong wearing a Cape or a mask (or a whole superperson outfit!) and you're in with a chance of winning a spot prize. Download a Mask Template from the Comic Relief Website
• Make sure you are armed with your best (clean) joke - if it's food related even better.  There will be a prize for the best one

Techniques you'll learn include the surprise pudding sauce technique, how to avoid risotto stirring fatigue, the 4 elements to a great salad and antipasti tips (you'll never buy jarred peppers again!) 

You'll benefit from learning the skills, tips and tricks which are typical of and It's From Scratch Cookalong and then have a deliciosu 3 course meal to enjoy at the end.  All our recipes can be adapted for most dietary requirements and the whole family can take part.  If you want to see the recipes from other cookalongs to see the sort of thing to expect simply click here 

We can provide adivice on substitute ingredients if you require them, please just let us know before the class date.  Before the event we will send you the shopping list, equipment list and zoom link.  The charge for each class is £10 per 'screen' - in other words your whole household can cook together but you pay just £10 (usual price £15).  You get to try out a cookalong at a reduced price AND help an amazing charity.   We do not provide ingredients or equipment but try to ensure all ingredients are easy to access and provide alternatives. Only basic equipment is needed, you will generally need access to 2 hob burners and an oven.  There will be a requirement to prepare/pre weigh some of the ingredients and we'll let you know about those too.  If it's your first class with us we'll call you in the week leading up to the class so you can ask questions and know what to expect. 

All our classes are fun and relaxed, you can ask questions as we go and we don't rush ahead.  Classes generally last 1.5 to 2 hours and then you can enjoy the feast you have created. . There is always time for mid-class clearing up during the class as well as a 10 minute break.
