Palestinian Cookalong for Zimbabwe Rural Schools Development Programme

We'll cook a selection of Palestinian dishes inspired by the fabulous book Zaitoun by Yasmin Khan.  Participants can choose the Vegetarian option (Halloumi Shawarma), the meat version or both! 

Once you're booked we'll send you the ingredients and equipment list and the zoom link

After the class we'll send you the recipe sheet.

We can provide advice on substitute ingredients if you require them, please just let us know before the class date

The charge for this class is £20 per 'screen' - in other words your whole household can cook together but you pay just £20.  Alll the ticket fees will go directly to the charity   We'd love it however if you'd consider making an additional donation to the charity and you can do this at

 We do not provide ingredients or equipment but try to ensure all ingredients are easy to access and provide alternatives. Only basic equipment is needed, you will generally need access to 2 hob burners and an oven.

There will be a requirement to prepare/pre weigh some of the ingredients and we'll let you know about those too.  If it's your first class with us we'll call you in the week leading up to the class so you can ask questions and know what to expect.    All our classes are fun and relaxed, you can ask questions as we go and we don't rush ahead.  This class is scheduled to last 2 hours but please allow a 15 minute overrun time just in case.

We use video extracts and stills from our classes to promote our service to prospective participants.  If you do not wish to take part in this please let us know and turn off your camera when requested.
